This guide provides a step-by-step explanation on how to create a new online point of sale. An additional point of sale is a completely new ticket shop with its own URL. This can be useful when you, for example, would like to offer a range of products separately, or only offer a specific group of people access to a particular shop.
Step 1: Go to ‘Points of sale’
Step 2: Creating Sales channel
All the points of sale that have been created within the account are available here. Click ‘Create new sales channel’ in order to create a new point of sale.
Step 3: Naming sales channel
The ‘Online sales channel’ page appears. Fill in the name of the point of sale here.
Step 4: Configuring the Frontoffice flow
You can adjust the steps the fan will go through in the ordering process here, using the ‘Frontoffice flow’. Listed below are the most commonly used options.
‘With Paylogic account’
This is the default flow. fans need to have a registered Paylogic account in order to complete the ordering process. If they don’t have one, they can create one immediately before continuing the process.
‘Without Paylogic account, with mandatory voucher’
The fan doesn’t need a Paylogic account for ordering tickets. Personal data may be entered by means of a Facebook registration.
If a voucher group is added to the ordering process, a voucher code will need to be entered by the fan beforehand in order to access the shop.
‘Without Paylogic account, with optional voucher’
The fan doesn’t need a Paylogic account for placing an order. Personal data may be entered by means of a Facebook registration. The difference here is that the fan can go through the ordering process both with or without a voucher.
If a voucher group is added to the ordering process, the fan has the option of entering a voucher code before starting the ordering process. This is not required for gaining access to the ticket shop.
‘With Paylogic account and mandatory voucher’
The fan needs to have a Paylogic account in order to finish the ordering process, and they need to fill in a valid voucher code beforehand in order to continue the ordering process.
Click on ‘Create sales channel’ when the flow is selected.
Step 5: Selecting the right event
Once the point of sale is created, it needs to be activated for the event. Go to ‘Manage’, where the right event can be selected.
Step 6: Activating points of sale for the event
The point of sale can be activated under the ‘Points of sale’ header. Select the previously created point of sale and click ‘Save changes’.
Note: Now that the point of sale is activated, the products still need to be linked to the point of sale before they are shown in that sales channel.
