SeeTickets offers you as an organizer the tools to achieve a positive fan experience, in line with our white-label philosophy. Parts of this are additional services. Among other things, in the form of a cancellation insurance (Refund protection) for your fans.
Refund protection is managed by insurer Booking Protect and can be offered as an additional service to your fans. The fan concludes Refund protection in the ordering process. When a fan takes out Refund protection, he/she agrees to the terms and conditions of Booking Protect. If due to certain events or circumstances, the fan cannot visit your event, he can then submit a claim to Booking Protect. The circumstances mentioned must then fall under the conditions. Booking Protect only protects the fan if he or she cannot visit the event due to exceptional cases.
What are the benefits for you as an organizer?
If your fan has taken out Refund protection with Booking Protect, as an organizer you are not responsible for the refund of the order value and the costs of the refund. If the claim is approved, the amount will be reimbursed by Booking Protect so that you as an organizer keep the paid ticket fees and can resell the tickets. As an organizer, you offer your fans an additional service to protect themselves against unforeseen events. If you have a non-refund policy for your events, you offer the fan the opportunity to receive a refund via Refund protection.
How can the fan submit their claim?
The fan must create an account on the Booking Protect website, after which they can file a claim to receive a refund. This is also stated in the booking protect conditions that the fan has agreed to in that case.
How can I activate it?
