The Backoffice allows you to create combo products. This means that when ‘Product A’ is purchased by the fan, they will also receive ‘Product B’. This guide provides a step-by-step explanation on how you can adjust that. For illustration, this article will provide an explanation on how to set up that people will receive ‘Merchandise Package Ticket’ (Product B) when they purchase ‘Super Early Bird Ticket’ (Product A).
Note: The combo product feature must be enabled for your account. Please contact your Client Success Manager about this.
Step 1: Selecting the event
Go to ‘Manage’, where the right event can be selected.
Step 2: Creating product(s)
Go to ‘Products’ and choose ‘Create a new product’ to create the products concerned. Not familiar with creating a new product? See this article.
Step 3: Selecting ‘Product A’
There is always a main product (i.e. the product appearing in the ticket shop) when you create combo products. Select the main product, which in this scenario is the product ‘Early Bird’.
Step 4: Linking products
Now that ‘Product A’ is selected, you can link it to ‘Product B’ below ‘Combo products’: the ‘Merchandise Package’ ticket. Don’t forget to click ‘Save changes’ when you’re done.
Step 5: Checking Frontoffice
The preview function allows you to take a look at how the previously set up combo products appear in the ticket shop. When the customer hovers the cursor above the product, they are able to see the combo products deal.
In this case it concerns ‘Early Bird Ticket’ including the ‘Test’, so the prices of both products are added together. This scenario featured test so the total price consists of just the purchase price of the ‘Early Bird Ticket’.
