As an organization, we have taken all the necessary measures to ensure we comply with the obligations arising from the GDPR legislation. This article describes in more detail what we have done in order to be properly prepared for those relevant obligations. Please contact the Client Success Team if you have any questions about the information below.
Development of new features
Our team has developed the necessary features to ensure that both Paylogic and its customers comply with the GDPR guidelines. Paylogic has created a feature which processes personal data from fans and protects it in case of requests, such as information from the GDPR, rectification and deletion of that information. This feature provides the opportunity to anonymize data in case the fan or consumer wishes to do that. This is an important part of the GDPR legislation, which is also called ‘the right to be forgotten’. Requests from fans can be forwarded to our Customer Service Team via privacy@paylogic.com.
By making use of the Paylogic platform, personal data from the consumer will be safely stored and accessible for the customers via the Backoffice. This information can be adjusted by the customer and will be deleted automatically after a certain time period.
Please refer to the frequently asked questions below or contact the Client Success Team if you have further questions after reading the information above.
Custom processor agreement
Paylogic is the data processor and the event organizer is the data administrator. According to the GDPR guidelines, strict rules should be observed with regard to data protection. In order to meet the GDPR requirements, the privacy obligations and conditions for Paylogic and yourselves are described in our updated processor agreement.
Custom privacy policy
Your fans can now see how Paylogic collects, uses, and protects data on behalf of the event organizer, as we have updated our privacy policy. You can find our new privacy policy on our website.
Measures of partners and suppliers
At the moment we are reviewing the extent to which our partners and suppliers have undertaken measures in order to meet the GDPR guidelines. This may lead to similar (sub)data processor agreements adhering to the guidelines of the GDPR.
Reviewing security measures and protocols
Paylogic guarantees that, in accordance with privacy laws and guidelines of the competent authority, a procedure has been prepared for data breaches, in order to adequately assess any data leaks of personal data. In case of a data leak, Paylogic will (by adhering to the predetermined GDPR conditions) inform the event organizer as well as the competent authority and/or fans. This is the case when the breach will lead to a high risk for the people involved in relation to the fundamental rights in the field of privacy.
