Collect more information about your fans with the Questionnaire feature
Are you looking for a way to collect more information from your ticket buyers? Perhaps you would like to use a survey to optimize your event, or simply gather service-oriented information. In any of these cases, it makes sense to add a questionnaire to your ordering process. The questionnaire allows you to request additional information next to the more common name, e-mail, address, etc. This manual explains in a few easy steps how to create and add a questionnaire to your check-out flow.
Note: Adding a questionnaire adds an extra step in the ordering flow.
Step 1: New Questionnaire
Select 'Manage' followed by ‘Questionnaires’ and click on ‘New Questionnaire’.
Step 2: Create new questionnaire
Add a title to your questionnaire and click on ‘Save changes’.
Step 3: Adding questions
You can add new questions by clicking on ‘New question’.
The question can be added as the ‘Label’. There are a number of questions available, described below.
1) 'Label': A piece of text without any choices for the ticket buyer, such as an introduction, or explanation.
2) 'Short Text': A question a ticket buyer can answer with a short text.
3) 'Long Text': A question a ticket buyer can answer with a long text.
4) 'Date': A question a ticket buyer can answer with a date.
5) 'Checkbox': A question that can be answered by checking a single available checkbox.
6) 'Checkbox group': A question that can be answered by checking one or multiple checkboxes.
7) 'Radiobutton group': A question that can be answered by checking a single checkbox out of a multitude of checkbox options.
Step 4: Changing the order (optional)
When all questions have been added, you can change the order of the questions by clicking ‘Up’ or ‘Down’.
Step 5: Select the right event
Go to 'Manage' and select the right event.
Step 6: Adding the questionnaire to the event
Select 'Questionnaire' and click on 'Add questionnaire to event’.
Step 7: Add form
Here, you can add one of the questionnaires you have added. The questionnaire is connected to a point of sale and can be activated for all products in your event, or a select few. In the case of the latter, you may decide to display the questionnaire per order, or for each of the products in the order. Do not forget to ‘Save changes’.
NOTE: When a questionnaire has been added to an event and has been used, it is no longer possible to adjust the questions. Please contact your Client Success Manager in case of any problems.
Step 8: Retrieve your data
Now you have added a questionnaire to the ordering flow, you are collecting extra information. You can download this information via a report. Select ‘Reports’. Select ‘Event’. Via ‘Questionnaire’ it is possible to download all additional information in an Excel-file by selecting ‘Download in Excel (.xls) format’.
Note: When you are unable to view the ‘Questionnaire’, it is possible your account does not have permission to view the additional data. In this case, please contact Client Success Manager.
