If you sell multiple products within your event that fall under the same category, it may be useful for your reporting to group these products. You can do this by categorizing the products into product groups. The sales figures can then be found clustered per product group in the reporting dashboard. This manual explains step by step how you create product groups and where you can view the sales figures per product group.
Step 1: Select event
Go to Manage then click on Event and select the relevant event.
Step 2: Go to product group configuration
Go to "Reporting Dashboard" and click on "Configure product groups" to open the configuration screen.
Step 3: Create product groups
Click on "Create group", then click on the text "Enter product group name" and enter the name. Click on the green check mark to save the product group.
Repeat this for multiple product groups.
Note: Empty groups and unnamed groups are not saved, so follow step 4 before you click save.
Step 4: Adding products to the product groups
The products on the left side of your screen are "Products without group". You can add these products to any group by dragging a product into the correct product group.
When the products are under the correct product group, click on "Save"
TIP: The product group can also be found in the product control panel, under "Product group name". This means when you create a product, a product group can also be added directly.
