Cookies allow each online visitor to leave a unique “Client ID”. This ID can be used to see where your visitors come from and what their behavior is on your website. When you incorporate a Frontoffice URL in a button or text on your website, visitors are redirected to a new webpage with this URL. Traffic on this page will be labeled as ‘direct traffic’ on Google Analytics, making it impossible to retrace where visitors are coming from. You can avoid this by adding a trigger in Google Tag Manager.
