Priority groups offer the ability to automate the succession of tickets on sale at a given time. When Product A sells out, it triggers the on-sale of Product B. In a structure with Early Birds, Regular- and Late Bird tickets, you can configure your priorities groups in a way that the Regular Tickets will go on sale automatically when the Early Birds are sold-out. Even when the Early Bird is not sold out yet, but the sales period has ended, the Early Bird will be replaced by the tickets whose sales period starts then.

When the available capacity of an on-sale product is lower than the configured max. per order, the next product will go on sale. Please take this into consideration when configuring your capacity.
During a peak sale with priority groups, it is important to keep in mind that tickets of unfinished orders will be released after a specific time.
Imagine: the max. Capacity for Product A is 5000. During the sale 4800 tickets are sold and the remaining 200 tickets are on processing. This will trigger the on-sale of Product B, as 0 tickets of Product A are still available. The unfinished orders containing Product A will release their tickets after 20 minutes, making Product A tickets available for on-sale again.
This will result in an unfair representation of ticket phases in the shop. Fans who should have gotten Early Birds pay the regular price and the other way around.
