Bottom line is. the Fan reports to the place where the person bought the ticket. As an event organizer, you are only responsible for tickets sold through official primary sales channels. See Tickets has various partnerships and integrations with external sales channels, such as Ticketswap, Festicket and Verve. Exceptions apply to some of these partners. You can read about the situations that arise with these exceptions in this article.
Seetickets.nl platform
If tickets are sold through the new b2c platform seetickets.nl, refunds will be made through the regular refund process of See Tickets.
Ticketswap: Ticketswap Secureswap has been activated for my event.
When Secureswap has been activated out for your event, the main booker will not receive money for a refund for the tickets sold via Ticketswap, because he or she has already received money for this. Both you and See Tickets are not responsible for the buyer who has bought a ticket via Ticketswap.
Ticketswap: Ticketswap Secureswap is not activated for my event.
In that case we cannot trace back if and how many tickets within an order were sold via Ticketswap. In this situation, the initial order value is returned to the lead booker's bank account.
Ticket swap: Primary ticketing
See Tickets facilitates both the provision of barcodes as well as the processing of payment and ticket fees. These ticket funds will be paid to you, which means that tickets are sold through Ticketswap Primary ticketing. The refunds of those orders are carried out via the regular refund process of See Tickets.
Pollen (Verve)
See Tickets facilitates both the provision of barcodes as well as the processing of payment and ticket fees. These ticket funds are paid to you, which means that tickets which are sold through Verve are refunded through the regular See Tickets refund process.
Festicket
See Tickets facilitates only in the provision of barcodes. Because the payment is made at Festicket and because the fan agrees to the General Terms and Conditions of Festicket, the fan must contact Festicket.
Secondary sales channels
Examples of secondary sales channels are Marktplaats, Tickettack, Viagogo, etc. As an organizer, you are not responsible for tickets purchased through one of these parties from a similar platform.
