Counter ticket fraud with Secure Swap
Of course, nobody wants ticket fraud. Fortunately, together with Ticketswap, we have come up with the solution to this. Secure Swap makes reselling tickets 100% reliable. When a fan sells a ticket via Ticketswap, the old barcode is cancelled and the buyer automatically receives a new barcode. In the process, the new buyer's personal data is also stored, which gives you as an organiser the advantage of collecting more data about your visitors. This manual explains step by step how to activate Secureswap in the Backoffice.
1: Activate TicketSwap at event level
- Select your desired event
- Go to ‘Sales configuration’.
- Click on the pink button ‘Create new sale’.
- Under ‘Channel’, select the TicketSwap sales channel

Is TicketSwap not listed? If so, please contact your Client Success Manager.
2: Activate products for TicketSwap
Once you have activated TicketSwap for the event, all you need to do is activate the products.
- Select ‘Sales configuration’, after which you can select ‘’Products and categories‘’ at TicketSwap via the three bullet points.
- On the right-hand side you will find a search bar, via this you can easily assign products in bulk and activate them for TicketSwap.
3: Activate the ‘’Sell on TicketSwap‘’ button
- Go to ‘Sales configuration’ and open the TicketSwap sales channel.
- Then click ‘edit’ and go to ‘Advanced settings’. Here you will find the option: ‘Enable Sell on TicketSwap on MyOrder.
- Check the box to the right of the option and click ‘Save changes’.
- Activating this feature will allow your fans to sell their tickets via TicketSwap, even if ‘delayed fulfilment’ is activated.

Do you have any questions or want to know more about this position? Then contact your Client Success Manager, or via the button below.

Let op: door middel van het activeren van Secure Swap genereer je als organisatie ook de persoonsgegevens van de uiteindelijke koper.
