Adding/modifying E-ticket design

In this article, you'll learn step-by-step how to set up an E-ticket with your own design in the Backoffice. When designing your own E-ticket, please consider the following conditions:

  1. A4 size
  2. PDF file
  3. Maximum 2 MB
  4. Space for horizontal barcode: 100mm x 60mm
  5. The horizontal barcode is mandatory, optionally, a QR code can also be displayed. The space for the QR code is: 40mm x 45mm
Uploading E-ticket Design
  1. Go to 'Manage' and click on 'Ticket Templates' in the black column on the left.

  2. Here you will find all E-ticket designs. Click on 'Create New E-ticket Template'.

  3. Enter a title to easily identify the E-ticket design later.

  4. Horizontal barcode position: This is the field with the standard EAN-13 barcode and additional information such as the ticket holder's name and the name and date of the event. 

  • Enter the number of millimeters from the left side to the beginning of the barcode in the first column. 

  • Enter the number of millimeters from the top to the beginning of the barcode in the second column.

  1. Optionally choose which information you want to show or hide in the field of the horizontal barcode.

  2. Now upload the PDF file and click on save.

  3. Click on 'Save Changes'.


After creating an e-ticket template, it always needs to be linked to the correct tickets.

Linking E-ticket design to tickets
  1. Go to 'Manage' and click on the event for which you want to add the e-tickets.
  2. Navigate to 'E-ticket Templates'.
  3. Here, you'll see all the products and which templates are linked to them. If nothing is set, our default Paylogic e-ticket will be applied.
  4. Under the 'E-tickets' column, select the custom design you want to link to each ticket.
  5. Click on 'Save Changes' at the bottom.
