Avoid direct traffic measurements: cross domain tracking

Avoid direct traffic measurements: cross domain tracking

Cross-domain tracking allows sessions on two related sites (for example, the Paylogic shop and your website) to be considered as one. This is also known as cross linking. This tutorial will explain step by step how to set up cross-domain tracking correctly.

Step 1. Add referral exclusion(s)

Step 2. Implementing the cross-domain iFrame.

(Optional) Step 3. Creating the appropriate views and filters in Google Analytics

Note: Make sure to replace 'Paylogic_Frontoffice_URL1' with the correct Frontoffice URL from the Backoffice & 'Analytics_UID' with the correct tracking pixel.
