Creating a Merchant level voucher

This article explains how to set up a discount or access voucher group at the merchant level. With a merchant-level voucher, you can now set up for one code to be redeemable in multiple events that can be used once, for example. This can be a fixed amount or percentage deducted during checkout.

Create a voucher group at the merchant level.
  1. Under ‘Merchant’, go to ‘Other settings’ and ‘Voucher Groups’.
  2. Click on the pink ‘Create Voucher Group’ button (Contact your Client Success Manager if this option is not yet visible).
  3. Under ‘Name’, enter the title of the voucher group. Use a title that is logical for you to find. This title will later also be visible in the sales configuration channels where this group is also used, so choose a clear name. 
  4. Under ‘Voucher group type’, tick the ‘access’ or ‘discount voucher’ bullet and enter the date from when you want it to take effect and until when
  5. Then click on ‘Create voucher group’.
  6. Add your discount codes. This can be done in two ways: Manually: click on the pink ‘Add’ button and enter your discount code(s). If you want to add more than one, repeat this step. CSV file: upload your own CSV file with multiple discount codes or use this tool to create codes.
  7. Create a voucher group in your event(s), with the same type.
  8. Enable ‘Use merchant-level voucher group’ and select the group you created at merchant-level.
Discount and access voucher setting at event level
  1. Select the product for which the code should work.
  2. Set a discount code, now consider how many euros or what percentage discount the code should giveThis can be done in 2 ways: ‘Amount of discount’: enter the amount how many euros of discount the code should give. ‘Discount percentage’: enter the percentage here, how much percentage discount the code should give.
  3. Choose the minimum and/or maximum number of discounted tickets per order.
  4. Click ‘Save changes’.
Activate voucher group in the sales configuration
  1. Go to ‘Sales configuration’. 
  2. Right-click on the 3 dots of the desired ticket shop the discount code should work in and go to ‘Sales Edit’. 
  3. Scroll down and click on ‘Advanced Settings’. 
  4. Tick your created discount group. Then click ‘Save changes’.
