The Webclient: scanning with a laptop and USB scanner
Don't have a mobile phone or tablet on hand, or prefer to work with your trusted laptop and USB scanner? Then the Webclient is the solution you're looking for. Our updated scanning software is available through your web browser. You need to scan online, so a stable internet connection is required. Offline scanning is not possible.
This manuel will walk you through step by step on how to get started with the Webclient.
Before you can start scanning, you need to create a scan operation. You can learn how to do this in this article. - Open the Backoffice and go to the scan operation. You will be taken directly to the 'Edit scan operation' page. Click on the button 'Scan in browser' button at the top right corner to open the Webclient.
- Log in with your scan user and password.
Log in with the scan user linked to the scan operation. This is the username you created within the scan configuration. This is a different user than the regular Backoffice login. If you have forgotten the login details, go to 'Users' and update your user.
Scanning and searching for orders
Select the correct session & entrance where you want to scan. Use the USB scanner to scan the barcode. If the barcode is not scannable, you can also type in the barcode and click on the pink scan button.

Searching for orders
If you are logged in with an admin user, you can also search for and scan orders. Click on the 'Search' button. Now you can search by name, order number, barcode, and email.
When you search for an order number, you will see all the tickets that fall under this order number. You need to scan them one by one. Click on a search result, and at the bottom, you can scan the ticket with a click.
View real time statistics
The Webclient is connected to the Backoffice. Therefore, you can view your scan statistics in real-time in the Reporting Dashboard. Want to know more about this? Read this article.
