Setting up additional product fees

Setting up additional product fees
Apart from the ticket price and service fee, it may be necessary to charge additional costs, such as tourist tax or deposit. With the custom fee solution, additional costs can be added separately per product, and are shown to the ticket buyer and on the payment invoice.

Creating fee profiles
  1. Go to the section 'Merchant' and click on 'Financial settings' then proceed to 'Service fees'.
  2. Click 'Custom fee' and give the fee a name and chose your desired amount
  3. Determine the tax rate to be applied to the fee.
Info
The fee amount includes VAT and the specified rate is only used for the invoice for the buyer, if VAT invoicing is enabled.

Assigning fees to ticket
Apart from the regular service fee, it is possible to add up to three custom fees to a ticket type.

1. Go to 'Dashboard' and click on the event in which you want to apply the custom fee(s).
2. Go to 'Products' and then 'Product fee settings'.
3. Click 'Edit Fees' and in the 'Custom service fee' column (right-hand side), select the fee(s) you want to apply. After selecting the fee, click the plus sign to confirm. Don't forget to save the changes.
