This article explains how to set up an access code for your shop.
- Creating a Voucher Group
- Go to ‘Dashboard’ and select the desired event.
- Navigate to 'Tools' and then 'Vouchers'.
- At the bottom, under ‘New voucher group name,’ enter the title of the voucher group. Use a title that makes sense to you for easy reference. This title is not visible to consumers, only in the Backoffice.
- Check the radio button for ‘Access voucher’ under ‘Voucher group type,’ and then click on 'Add voucher group'.
Voucher Group Settings
- Click on your newly created voucher group.
- Add your Voucher Code(s). This can be done in two ways: - Manually: Click the pink ‘Add’ button and enter your own Voucher Code(s). If you want to add multiple codes, repeat this step. - CSV file: Upload your own CSV file with multiple discount codes or use this tool to create codes.
- Select the product(s) for which the voucher will be valid.
- Choose the minimum and/or maximum number of tickets per order for this specific product.
- Want to add more products? Click the green button ‘Add another’.
- Specify the start and end dates for when the Voucher Codes are valid and can be entered.
- If you are using unique codes that can only be used once, deselect ‘No maximum availability’ and enter ‘1’ under ‘Maximum availability’.
Optional
- Choose the minimum and/or maximum number of tickets per order.
- Click ‘Save Changes’.
Making the Voucher Code Valid for a Ticket Shop
- Go to ‘Sales Configuration’.
- Click the three dots on the right of the desired ticket shop where the voucher code should be valid, and go to ‘Edit Sale’.
- Scroll down and click on ‘Advanced Settings’.
- Add the voucher group you created.
- Then click ‘Save Changes’.
Prepare Your Product(s) for the Access Voucher
- In the header ‘Settings’, go to ‘Sales Periods’.
- Set the product(s) to past dates. For example: starts on ‘yesterday’ and ends on ‘yesterday’.
This is an important step because otherwise, the ticket can be visible to other ticket buyers without the voucher cod
