Creating products? In this article, we explain how to do that. Step by step, we explain below how to get your products ready for sale:
Go to ‘Events’ and select the desired event, then go to ‘Products’.
Click on ‘Create new product’ on the right.
Give the product a name, e.g. ‘Early bird ticket’, ‘Regular ticket’ or ‘Guest ticket’.
At ‘Price’ enter the ticket price.
If VAT invoicing is activated, enter the rate of your product under ‘Applicable VAT rate’. This may differ per country and type of product.
At ‘Number of available products’, enter the capacity (number of available tickets) of the product. If desired, you can use ‘Share a pool with an existing product’ to link the product to an existing product so that you can sell from the same capacity.
Then select ‘Create product’.
Once you have created all your products, you can add them to your own ticketshop.
There are a number of options you can set when creating products:
Images: If you use the Product Cards layout in your shop, you can display images for each product in the shop. You can load these images via ‘Images’.
Label: If you want to show a different title than the entered product title in your shop, you can display a different name of the product via ‘Label’.
Not separately sellable: If you want the product not to be sold separately, you could activate ‘Not sold separately’. This means that the product can only be ordered in combination with a product where ‘Not sold separately’ is not activated.
Use custom sold out text: When there are no more available tickets and a product is sold out, the shop automatically shows the text Sold out. Through this option, you can customise this text to your liking.
Minimum and maximum per order: This option allows you to set how much of a product can be paid for in one order. For example, you can ensure that fans can purchase a maximum amount to prevent buyers from buying up.
